Al Shaqab

Al Shaqab is a premier sports complex and event destination located in Ar-Rayyan, Doha, Qatar, operating under the Qatar Foundation. Blending Arabic heritage with modern luxury and a minimalist aesthetic, this expansive venue is capable of hosting up to 4,000 guests, making it one of the region's most versatile large-scale event spaces. For dining and hospitality, Al Shaqab offers in-house catering featuring Middle Eastern cuisine with vegetarian options available. Beverage service is also managed in-house, ensuring a seamless food and drink experience throughout events.

The venue encompasses a diverse collection of spaces to accommodate gatherings of all scales. The Outdoor Arena is the largest space, accommodating up to 4,000 guests in an island layout or 2,129 in theater style. The Indoor Arena seats up to 2,500 in island format or 2,480 in theater configuration. The Warmup Arena supports up to 850 guests in either layout. For corporate and meeting needs, the Multi Function Hall caters to up to 190 guests in theater style, 200 for cocktail receptions, 90 in classroom format, and 74 in a U-shape. The Media Lounge offers more intimate configurations for up to 100 guests. Lounge spaces include the Sponsors Lounge, VIP Lounge, and Emir Lounge, each accommodating up to 150, 150, and 100 guests respectively, alongside a Competitors Lounge for up to 20. A Cafeteria Area is also available for up to 150 guests.

Al Shaqab is fully equipped for high-production events. Audiovisual capabilities include high-speed internet access, professional sound systems, wireless, handheld, and lapel microphones, projectors and screens, LED displays, and video walls, all supported by on-site AV technicians. Lighting solutions encompass stage lighting with spotlights, floodlights, and gobo projectors, as well as ambient options such as uplighting and color-changing LEDs, managed by dedicated lighting technicians. The venue also provides a full range of furniture including folding, banquet, and theater-style chairs, round, rectangular, and cocktail tables, as well as lounge furniture. Livestream capabilities are available for broadcast-ready events.

Additional facilities include 24-hour security, CCTV coverage, on-site and accessible parking, air conditioning, soundproof rooms, a staging area, VIP services, wheelchair accessibility, designated smoking areas, horse riding facilities, and on-site medical support.
