Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre

The Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre (BIECC) is the Kingdom of Bahrain's largest and most advanced exhibition and convention venue. Independently operated and situated in Sakhir, the centre combines state-of-the-art technology with elegant architectural design, making it a premier destination for event organizers across the region.

The venue spans 95,000 square meters of exhibition space and is purpose-built to accommodate events of exceptional scale and variety. The Exhibition Hall serves as the centrepiece of the complex, with a cocktail capacity of up to 148,273 guests, making it one of the most expansive event spaces in the Gulf region. Additional facilities include a grand theatre, meeting rooms, and VIP lounges, providing organizers with a comprehensive and flexible range of environments for any event format.

BIECC is equipped with a full suite of professional production capabilities. Audio and visual services include high-speed internet access, wireless, handheld, and lapel microphones, LED displays, video walls, sound systems, and audio and video recording equipment, all supported by on-site AV technicians. Lighting provisions encompass stage lighting — including spotlights, floodlights, and gobo projectors — as well as ambient lighting such as uplighting and color-changing LEDs, also managed by dedicated technicians. Staging infrastructure includes modular stage platforms, podiums, and lecterns. A full range of furniture and seating is available, from theater-style and banquet chairs to round and rectangular tables, cocktail tables, and lounge furniture including sofas, ottomans, and coffee tables. Decor support extends to linens, tablecloths, and portable walls.

The venue is well-suited to a broad spectrum of events, including trade shows and exhibitions, international conferences, indoor dinners, awards ceremonies and galas, concerts, fashion shows, gaming tournaments, sports tournaments, product launches, festivals, corporate events, trainings, workshops, and indoor weddings. Safety provisions include an on-site medical support team and a dedicated security team. Facilities include 24-hour security, CCTV coverage in common areas and outside the property, accessible and public on-site parking, taxi access, wheelchair accessibility, and VIP services.
