The Amazónico Distillery in Madrid is a cocktail-focused venue inspired by the Amazon rainforest, its cultures, rituals, and mythology. It offers an immersive and theatrical experience where guests become part of a unique tribe, merging fable and legend. The concept is based on innovation and breaking rules, resulting in original creations developed through experimentation, internal cultivation, and unique redistillations. The drinks program is the heart of the venue, featuring cocktails described as being poured from the Amazon and combining aromas, textures, and even dance. The bar first creates new spirits, then blends them, merging high culinary techniques with mixology to produce exclusive and magical elixirs. Signature redistillations are crafted on-site using a pressure still for two to three hours, capturing the nuances of exotic ingredients and evoking the richness of the tropical rainforest in every sip. Sustainability is fundamental, with all ingredients sourced sustainably, some grown in the restaurant’s own garden, and waste minimized by reusing elements in the kitchen. The atmosphere is tribal and fantastic, with vibrant nightlife featuring a walk-in bar and live DJ performances every night. The gastronomy fuses avant-garde mixology with food service, specialising in handcrafted redistilled spirits and Amazon-inspired cocktails made with exotic botanicals and home-grown produce.
