MCM Stages

MCM Stages is a professional recording studio and production complex located in Chelsea, Manhattan. The facility houses multiple private, purpose-built spaces suited to a wide range of creative and corporate needs, from live performances and content creation to private screenings and podcast recordings. The Live Event Space is the largest room, spanning over 1,500 square feet and accommodating up to 60 guests standing. Featuring a 50-foot white cyclorama wall, customizable risers, AV equipment, and GB LED lighting, it is well suited for comedy shows, cocktail hours, live music, and launch parties. The White Cyc' Stage accommodates up to 50 guests and is a soundproof, climate-controlled studio with an 18' x 37.25' cyclorama, 140 AMP power distribution, and a 10-foot ceiling clearance. It is suited for commercials, music videos, fashion photography, film and video production, and green screen work. A minimum booking of 6 hours applies. The Green Screen Room holds up to 10 guests and is a soundproof 15-foot green screen cyc stage equipped for multi-camera 4K shoots, live video streaming, and remote client direction. It is designed for professional video productions, virtual events, and branded content. The Kitchen Set accommodates up to 20 guests and features a fully customizable kitchen stage with interchangeable countertops and cabinets, a working gas stove, and stainless steel appliances. It is ideal for cooking demonstrations, food photography, and culinary content production. The Screening Room seats up to 9 guests in two-tier elevated leather couch seating and is equipped for 4K DCP projection with 5.1 surround sound. It is designed for private screenings, indie film viewings, and small test screenings. The Podcast Studio accommodates up to 3 guests and is an acoustically treated, soundproofed room purpose-built for audio recording and podcasting, featuring a custom table crafted from 150-year-old reclaimed southern yellow pine wood. All spaces are private and bookable by the hour, with camera, grip, and lighting packages available as add-ons.
