Orient Lounge sits in the heart of Leyton, blending an Italian and Mediterranean menu with a proper cocktail bar under one roof. The kitchen, led by Chef Sadiku, turns out flavourful pastas, fresh seafood, and grilled meats — a range that gives the menu real breadth without feeling unfocused. The space itself does a good job of being more than one thing. Up front, the cocktail bar is stylish and social, with expertly mixed drinks that hold their own as a destination in themselves. Further back, the dining area opens up into something larger and more settled — cozy enough to feel like a genuine night out, spacious enough that it never feels cramped. It works equally well for a romantic dinner or a family meal, which is a harder balance to strike than it sounds.
