Parchment Studios

Parchment Studios is a 7,000 sq ft photo and film production facility located in Logan Square, Chicago, housed within a historic bow truss building on West Armitage Avenue. The space combines industrial character with professional infrastructure, making it suitable for photo and film productions, corporate events, creative gatherings, and private functions. The main studio is a clear-span ground-floor space 44 feet wide, with polished concrete floors, 12-foot clearance to the bottom of the trusses, and 18'6" to the ceiling. Radiant heated floors and a full HVAC system provide climate control year-round. Blackout blinds allow complete light control. The studio accommodates up to 100 guests standing or for dining, 50 in theater or cabaret configurations, and 8 in a boardroom setup. A fully equipped commercial chef's prep kitchen is available on-site, featuring a Wolf 6-burner gas rangetop, Miele double wall oven, three full-size refrigerators, a full-size freezer, and 50 linear feet of countertop surface. The venue also includes a flexible secondary room that can serve as a conference room, second shooting space, or greenroom, three bathrooms (one with a shower), and a private outdoor courtyard. Additional office, storage, and garage space can be rented separately. Dodd Camera sales and rental is located three doors away and is open seven days a week.
