Ye Olde Cock Tavern

Ye Olde Cock Tavern is a historic pub on Fleet Street in the City of London, with origins dating back to 1549. It boasts the narrowest frontage of any London pub, offering a unique architectural charm. The 2017 refurbishment carefully restored many original features, including a fireplace, overmantle, and an ornamental cockerel attributed to master carver Grinling Gibbons, visible on the first floor. Inside, the pub exudes a cosy and comfortable atmosphere with traditional timbered beams and vintage-style green and red leather sofas, reminiscent of the leather benches in the nearby Houses of Commons and Lords. The warm and friendly ambience complements a menu featuring food and cask ales. The venue includes three function rooms, with the Top Room serving as a private conference space for up to 60 guests, equipped with a private bar, suitable for dinners or standing events.
