Chez Madie

Chez Madie is a modern bistro by day and a tapas house by night, located at 37 Rue Briçonnet on Place Plumereau in Tours. Housed in a fully renovated building dating back to 1865, the interior showcases tuffeau stone, wrought iron, padded benches, and restored vintage bistro furniture, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant opened its doors in 2020, founded by three hospitality professionals: Ingrid Richard, Arnaud Mascré, and Baptiste Fouchard. The cuisine offers locally-inspired gastronomy that blends French traditions with Asian and Mediterranean influences, focusing on seasonality and locally-sourced products from Touraine. Lunch features French dishes with Asian accents, while the dinner menu unveils a selection of tapas that changes monthly, highlighting creative bites such as the signature Croq'Truffe and Pizza Sushi. The wine list includes over 80 carefully selected references, emphasizing local, organic, and natural wines. The bar complements this with over 80 spirits, including whisky, rum, gin, tequila, Calvados, Cognac, and a rotating selection of house cocktails inspired by the team's creativity. A terrace is also available for customers wishing to enjoy an outdoor dining experience.
