Fabioli Fontaines-sur-Saône

Fabioli is a group of Italian restaurants founded in 2003 by Fabien Annarelli, with establishments in Fontaines-sur-Saône, Villeurbanne, and Lyon Part-Dieu. The original site in Fontaines-sur-Saône, located near the historic Marronniers tram stop from the late 19th century, offers an authentic Italian dining experience rooted in tradition. Since November 2021, this location has been in a newly designed space inspired by Tuscany, featuring cinnabar tones, a centuries-old olive tree, a large terrace, and a modern air-conditioned interior. The menu focuses on generous homemade Italian cuisine, including antipasti, pizzas, fresh pasta, salads, meats, fish, vegetarian specialties, and desserts. The pizzaiolos prepare the dough daily on-site, creating thin-crust pizzas topped with fresh, quality ingredients, baked to achieve a balance of crispiness and softness. The fresh pasta made from durum wheat semolina is cooked al dente and served with traditional Italian sauces. The establishment also features a versatile bar with changing colours that transitions from serving coffee to cocktail moments after work. Fabioli's cuisine is simple yet skillfully full of sunny flavours, perfect for business lunches, romantic dinners, and casual gatherings. The restaurant offers on-site service as well as takeout options through Fabioli Presto, a pizza delivery service, and takeaway deliveries.
