Innocenti Wine Experiences

Innocenti Wines is situated in Poggibonsi, Italy, surrounded by artisanal wineries. The venue houses around 1,200 wine labels and offers sampling by the glass, serving bottles without extra charge. Since its inception in 2008 by Gianni and Francesco as a wine distributor, it has evolved into a Michelin-listed restaurant focusing on meat and seafood dishes. Chef Thomas Palmieri leads the kitchen with a creative menu that emphasizes seasonality, balancing flavor and lightness while transcending regional culinary boundaries. Signature dishes include fried zucchini flower stuffed with pappa al pomodoro on crispy quinoa, tagliatelle with farmyard ragù and fava beans, and guinea fowl breast and leg accompanied by a carrot-ginger-chard cream. The pistachio and white chocolate "Magnum" dessert completes the offering. Three tasting menus—Cuvée (three courses), Nature (four courses), and Prestige (five courses)—allow diners to experience the kitchen's innovation, ideally paired with selections from the extensive wine list. The glassed-in veranda provides a well-kept and inviting setting for lunch or dinner, complemented by knowledgeable and approachable service. Since 2025, Innocenti Wines has also expanded with a second location in Florence’s city center.
