La Taverne Alsacienne, located on the Place de la Paix in the heart of Roanne, is a historic brasserie and bar founded in the mid-1930s by Paul Fuchs. Originally a landmark on the National Route 7, it has welcomed generations of locals and notable artists such as Jean Richard and Jacques Higelin.
