Le Senso

Le Senso operates since 2013 and was reconfigured in 2023 to combine a restaurant, a wine shop and a wine bar in one welcoming space in the heart of Beauvais on the Place des Halles. The cellar offers about 100 carefully selected wine references assembled by Tristan Castellote, with bottles available for take-away and options to enjoy wines by the glass at the bar. The website displays recognitions and professional badges including the Michelin Guide, Gault & Millau and JRE logos, underlining the restaurant’s local and professional standing. The room presents a warm, convivial and friendly informal dining environment with a terrace accessible in good weather. The design emphasizes the cave-à-manger concept, allowing guests to eat, drink and buy bottles in the same location. The kitchen offers seasonal, monthly-changing contemporary cuisine that is comforting and sits between French tradition and wider international influences. The à-la-carte is renewed monthly according to the chef’s inspirations and the menu is guided by the seasons. The kitchen is led by Chef Allan Castellote, trained in Le Meurice, Les Crayères, Le Carré des Feuillants and Le Westminster. He delivers reassuring, generous cooking dictated by the seasons.
