Maménakané

MAMÉNAKANÉ is a small gastronomic restaurant in Perpignan whose name refers to a greeting in a dialect from Shimane in western Japan. Housed at 9 rue des Pêcheurs in a former pâtisserie, the venue is recognised in the Michelin Guide (Selected) and emphasises a focused, terroir-aware approach that blends modern French techniques with the chef’s personal heritage. The intimate, harmonious interior is designed for a human-scale dining experience and accommodates up to twenty guests. Cuisine is seasonal and market-driven, anchoring French technique in the seasons and informed by the chef’s Japanese roots and her experience in Parisian and Japanese kitchens; the menu changes each day according to the market, the garden and available regional produce. The kitchen is led by Maiko Ike. Specialties include a daily fixed tasting menu, vegetable-forward seasonal dishes, vegetables sourced from nearby maraîchage farms, local fish from the catch, sustainably raised regional meats and produce from the restaurant’s on-site potager.
