Musée maritime et portuaire

Housed in a former tobacco warehouse in Dunkirk’s Citadelle district, in the historic port, the Maritime and Port Museum combines industrial heritage with professional events. The site brings together a museum, five boats and a lighthouse, in a setting devoted to the city’s maritime and economic history. Its versatile spaces accommodate seminars, conferences, workshops, cocktail receptions and corporate evenings. The spaces presented include Phares et Balises, with an equipped kitchen; Manutention, among the museum collections; Espace Jean Deweerdt; Port Center for meetings and conferences; and the Risban lighthouse, with panoramic views. Events can be paired with guided tours of the museum, boats and lighthouse, as well as team-building activities or an Urban Game. Breakfasts, meal trays and lunchtime cocktail receptions are also offered, with an emphasis on local produce and short supply chains.
