Ottolenghi

Ottolenghi Genève marks the first Ottolenghi restaurant outside the United Kingdom, located within the Mandarin Oriental, Geneva. Inspired by the London restaurant ROVI, it offers a Mediterranean dining experience that places vegetables at the heart of the menu, with an emphasis on fermentation and cooking over fire. The dishes pay tribute to Ottolenghi's Mediterranean heritage while showcasing local Swiss produce, reflecting a commitment to seasonality and sustainability. Chef Maxime Martin, who trained under Ottolenghi’s executive chef Neil Campbell and brings over seven years of experience at the Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, has infused the menu with a Swiss sensibility. Together, they have crafted a selection of sharing dishes that celebrate authentic and inventive flavours rooted in Mediterranean tradition and local ingredients. The interior, designed by Alex Meitlis, features a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a central grill, natural wood accents, deep red tones, and soft gold touches. Custom artworks inspired by Ivo Bisignano complete the space, which offers a view of the Rhône. Recognised by Gault & Millau with a score of 14/20 and by Falstaff with 88/100 and two forks, Ottolenghi Genève is among the best restaurants in the city.
