Scale AI is a Canadian national innovation and investment hub dedicated to accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence across various business sectors. It operates as a business-led consortium focused on improving value chains by leveraging AI technologies, with particular attention to building resilient and sustainable supply chains. The organization supports the growth of AI startups and small to medium enterprises through funding, strategic guidance, and collaborative projects that connect solution adopters, product companies, service providers, and academic institutions. Scale AI's programs include an Acceleration initiative that targets organizations fostering the development of applied AI products and services, aiming to strengthen the Canadian AI ecosystem by enabling incubators, accelerators, and innovation centres to scale promising AI businesses. Established as one of five Global Innovation Clusters in Canada, Scale AI receives funding from the Governments of Canada and Quebec as well as the private sector. It is the only cluster in the country focused exclusively on AI projects.
