The National Gallery

The National Gallery is situated on Trafalgar Square in the heart of London, offering a prestigious setting for a wide range of private and corporate events. The Barry Rooms, the most popular event space, feature a domed ceiling and marbled columns, displaying paintings by Turner and Constable, and can accommodate up to 300 standing guests. Room 32, refurbished in 2022, is the largest gallery and showcases the Italian collection, accommodating up to 450 guests for large dining and awards events. Room 34, part of the British collection, accommodates up to 350 guests and adjoins the Barry Rooms, offering options for tours in the Impressionist galleries. The Annenberg Court features a custom installation by Bridget Riley and is suited for dancing, networking, and after-parties, with a standing capacity of 300. The Wohl Room bridges the main building's classic architecture with the Sainsbury Wing and holds up to 300 guests. Central Hall, located off the Portico entrance, accommodates up to 200 guests for receptions and dinners. The Yves Saint Laurent Room hosts up to 100 guests and displays the Dutch Collection. Locatelli is a light-filled reception space with direct views of Trafalgar Square, accommodating up to 250 guests. The Portico Terrace and Foyer, overlooking Trafalgar Square, serves as an outdoor space for summer receptions and breakfasts for up to 100 guests. The Mosaic Terrace, featuring a historic mosaic floor by Boris Anrep beneath a domed glass ceiling, accommodates up to 60 guests and is suited for breakfast receptions. The Supporters' House, accessible through a private entrance on Trafalgar Square, is available for evening hire and includes several spaces: the Lounge (up to 150 guests), the Salon (up to 50 guests for drinks or 27 seated), the Blue Dining Room (up to 50 guests), and a Private Dining Room suited for business lunches or intimate celebrations. The Whitcomb Room is a purpose-built meeting room for board meetings, away days, and private dining, accommodating up to 60 guests. The Pigott Theatre is a 300-seat auditorium equipped for conferences, presentations, film screenings, and hybrid events. The Sfumato Gallery features white exhibition walls and professional gallery lighting with a flexible layout. The Whole Gallery can be hired in its entirety for events accommodating between 10 and 2,000 people.
