WestWeelde is a multi-concept hospitality venue and event destination located in the heart of Westerpark, Amsterdam. Founded in March 2025 by merging three iconic spaces—WestergasTerras, WesterUnie, and WesterLiefde—under one name, it offers an extensive platform for events, parties, corporate meetings, club nights, and gastronomy. The venue features a nightclub with nearly two decades of experience in hosting national and international parties, a bar-restaurant with a large sunny terrace, and a versatile event space suitable for both private and corporate occasions. The restaurant is primarily open from April to October, serving lunch, drinks, and dinner on a spacious sunny terrace overlooking greenery. During the autumn and winter, the restaurant space is exclusively available for hire for receptions, dinners, and parties. WestWeelde offers tailored solutions for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations, presentations, fashion shows, trade floor events, and weddings. The spaces can be used independently or combined, allowing them to adapt to various event styles. The atmosphere of the venue combines an industrial character with the green surroundings of Westerpark. Individual spaces include the romantic and intimate De Liefde with a wooden floor, the bright restaurant by the water with views of the park, the robust industrial De Unie on the first floor with a large round balcony, and the spacious De Wester with 10-meter high ceilings and a multifunctional layout. WestWeelde is an official wedding location, focusing on creating memorable experiences. The restaurant and bar offer a broad social hospitality concept centered on lunch, drinks, and dinner during the terrace season. The venue specializes in dining on the large terrace, private dinners, corporate events, club nights, weddings, and hosting events across multiple spaces, integrating flexible hospitality within a vibrant nightlife and event destination.
