The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, The Vaults is an urban venue dedicated to single cask whiskies, offering two distinct bookable spaces suited to tastings, private gatherings, and dinners. The Tasting Room accommodates up to 16 guests standing and is well suited to whisky tastings and small get-togethers. Among its notable features is an original 'uisge cupboard' that belonged to Mr. J.G. Thomson in the 1600s, lending the space a distinct historical character. The Cask Room, formerly used for cask storage, has been transformed into a setting for tastings and large private dinners, with a standing capacity of 35. The space houses a collection of cask samples, Society bottlings, and whisky artefacts, providing an atmospheric backdrop rooted in the venue's history. The venue also features a restaurant and bar on site.
