Day Block Event Center

Located in the Riverfront District of downtown Minneapolis, the Day Block Event Center occupies a historic building originally constructed in 1883 and restored in 2006. This venue combines classic and rustic architectural elements with contemporary and industrial design, featuring loft-style spaces with exposed brick walls, wood floors, and high ceilings. The building's historic character is recognized by its 2007 Historic Preservation Award, highlighting its preservation and unique charm.

The event center offers a variety of spaces suitable for gatherings ranging from intimate ceremonies to larger receptions, with capacities from 25 up to 250 guests. A standout feature is the 50-foot balcony providing views of the Minneapolis skyline, alongside picturesque windows that frame cityscape and river views. The venue’s rooftop access and a full metal wall inside add distinctive elements for event decoration and photography.

Guests benefit from amenities such as free WiFi, elevator access to the second floor, and onsite restrooms. The venue’s flexible catering policy allows clients to select their own caterer, while alcohol services are provided by the venue with licensed servers. The Day Block Brewing operates separately on the first level, offering craft beer and food options including appetizers, pizza, and sandwiches, and can cater or host smaller events independently.
