Kinowerks is a multi-space creative production and event facility spanning over 20,000 square feet in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. The venue's industrial character — defined by warehouse architecture, high ceilings, bamboo wall panels, recycled terrazzo floors, and exposed timber bowstring trusses — makes it a versatile destination for film productions, corporate gatherings, live performances, sports activations, and private events. An on-site liaison is available throughout every booking to assist guests. The Custom Half Court Gym features bamboo acoustical panels, wall padding, an NBA half-court with a ceiling-height backboard, and high-pressure sodium lighting. It accommodates up to 125 guests standing and is suited for sports events, production shoots, and large activations. The Custom Black Box Studio is a blackout studio and theater measuring 58' x 26' x 22', acoustically padded and fully customizable. It accommodates up to 125 guests and is designed for short films, music videos, interviews, feature films, and live performances. The Unique Theater Experience is a private cinema-style theater featuring 32 plush reclining seats, an NEC projector, a dedicated movie screen, and 5.2 surround sound with soundproofed walls. It seats up to 50 guests and accommodates up to 70 standing, suited for screenings, premieres, and presentations. The Deluxe Lounge offers natural light from 60-foot skylights, a fireplace, sectional seating, and modern finishes. It accommodates up to 200 guests standing or 20 seated, and is well-suited for receptions, networking events, and private gatherings. The Fully-Equipped Kitchen is a semi-private culinary space featuring premium appliances and high-end finishes including a white marble bar and custom terrazzo floors. It accommodates up to 40 guests standing or 20 seated, and is available for private dining, catering, and food or film production. The Creative Conference Space is a high-ceilinged auditorium flooded with natural light from two 60-foot skylights. It seats up to 14 guests and accommodates up to 60 standing, suited for meetings, conferences, product launches, and presentations. The Private Green Room is a 20' x 20' lounge equipped with a lighted mirror and sink, designed as a talent prep and personal storage area. It accommodates up to 10 guests and serves as a retreat for performers, speakers, and crew. The venue holds an alcohol licence and welcomes external catering. A loading dock provides equipment access, and an in-house rental warehouse stocked with camera, lighting, audio, and grip equipment is available on-site.
