5 is a multimodal gastronomic venue that combines a gourmet restaurant, a wine bar, a lounge, and a café. It offers à la carte business lunches and structured multi-course evening menus, emphasizing craftsmanship with the motto "best products, modern flavors & fine lightness." It promotes a philosophy of tasting menus with vegetarian and master menus, hosts private cooking events and cooking classes, arranges weddings and events, and has been awarded the number one spot among fine dining restaurants in Germany from 2019 to 2024. Two different levels in the former Stuttgart main train station provide a stylish, cosmopolitan atmosphere; the upper floor houses the fine dining restaurant, while the ground floor features a cozy wine bar and lounge. The design aims to create a relaxed, inspiring oasis for dining and socializing. The kitchen "Radikosmos" presents a globally inspired, modern tasting menu concept that emphasizes high-quality products, refined techniques, and contemporary flavors, including vegetarian and master menus as well as structured wine and non-alcoholic pairings. Alexander Dinter is the head chef. Highlights include Dim Sum à la "5," cauliflower 5.0 (cauliflower with purple curry), Balfegó yellowfin tuna belly (Otoro), black cod with dashi and miso, US filet mignon with Wagyu-nduja and foie gras, and the Sweet Poetry rhubarb dessert.
