Antico Pizza Napoletana opened in Atlanta in 2009, introducing authentic Neapolitan pizza to the city. The founder built the original West Midtown location "from scraps and stones," and the restaurant quickly developed long lines of locals, visitors and celebrities for its signature pies. It became the cornerstone of Little Italia, a cluster that includes Gio’s Chicken, Caffé Antico and Bar Amalfi. The brand expanded to multiple locations, ships pizza nationwide via delivery partners, and received Michelin recognition with awards in 2023 and 2024 alongside a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction. The restaurant occupies a modest exterior building whose interior channels the lively energy of classic Italian street scenes, contributing to a vibrant, communal atmosphere that evokes historic Italian town centers.
