Antoine

Antoine is a small, informal fine-dining restaurant in Eupen that emphasizes sustainable enjoyment, craftsmanship and joyful hospitality. The team describes its approach as uncomplicated fine dining built on distinctive, self-directed ways of cooking. Mirko and Lisa created the restaurant; it has operated for nine years and originally began with the Klavierzimmer in 2017. Antoine has been recognized by the Michelin Guide (SELECTED). Its identity combines a homely, undogmatic living-room atmosphere with a refined, modern French fine-dining experience. It is housed in Lisa’s former family house in the Stendrich district and offers intimate dining rooms named the Wohnzimmer and the Klavierzimmer, plus a Chef’s Table set in a small winter garden. Spaces range from small round-seating séminées to a bar area. The rooms are designed to foster conviviality and surprise moments; the overall vibe is unpretentious, convivial and relaxed. The kitchen draws inspiration from modern and contemporary French cooking and from the team’s travels and professional encounters, including visits to the Mosel and to Victor’s Fine Dining. Menus foreground craftsmanship, honest sourcing and uncomplicated modern fine-dining dishes rooted in contemporary French cuisine.
