Château d'Adoménil

Château d'Adoménil, an authentic 18th-century château, is a four-star hotel and gastronomic restaurant just south of Lunéville in the Lorraine, set in a 7-hectare (20-acre) wooded park. Acquired by Bernadette and Michel Million in 1978 and converted into a hotel-restaurant by the end of that decade, it is now run by Sophie and Cyril Leclerc as Maîtres de Maison. A Relais & Châteaux member holding one Michelin star, the hotel offers fourteen authentic, spacious rooms and apartments that reinforce its image as an elegant house devoted to the French art of living. Four salons create an elegant, warm and intimate atmosphere; the dining room opens onto the park and, in fine weather, guests may dine on the terrace. Rooms are air-conditioned and the décor blends classical and contemporary elements within the historic château. The seasonal cuisine combines tradition and modernity with refined, light, travel-inspired dishes and a strict emphasis on respect for the product; the menu balances classical-contemporary à la carte plates with multi-course menus that take guests on a culinary journey. Cyril Leclerc, Grand Chef Relais et Châteaux, heads the kitchen.
