Intuition in Saint-Lô, Manche, holds a Michelin star and presents a modern, terroir-driven cuisine with attentive, contemporary fine-dining execution. The house operates alongside a brasserie, Les Capucines. The dining room occupies the first floor (upstairs) and the site emphasizes moments of pleasure and sharing, with limited detail provided on decor or seating layout. The cuisine is generous and sincere, anchored in freshness and working daily with local, seasonal products; the kitchen defends short supply chains and product traceability and improvises each day according to available produce. Mickaël Marion (Chef) grew up spending vacations with farmer grandparents, trained at Les Maisons de Bricourt under Olivier Roellinger and returned to his native town to lead Intuition; his honours include a BIB Gourmand, recognition as a young talent by Gault&Millau and induction as a Disciple d'Escoffier. Specialties include weekly foraging in the Marais du Cotentin—elderflower, sweet woodruff, oxalis, achillea and wild garlic—incorporated raw to create novel flavour pairings; seasonal Normandy terroir dishes; Menu Découverte (3 courses) and Menu Instant (4 and 7 courses); specific options for children; short supply-chain, traceable ingredients.
