Key and Cleaver

Key and Cleaver is a farm-to-table hamburger restaurant situated on University Avenue in the Fairmont Village neighborhood of San Diego. The interior features large windows, vibrant green and yellow chairs, potted plants, and a ceiling mural of treetops, creating a warm and lively dining environment. The exterior is marked by a building mural created by Ground Floor Murals, a local art collective. The restaurant offers two semi-private event spaces suitable for a range of private occasions. The Upstairs is an indoor semi-private space accommodating up to 25 guests standing or 20 guests seated. It is well suited for birthday parties, family gatherings, and corporate hospitality events. The space is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Patio is an outdoor terrace space featuring string lights, wicker seating, potted plants, and a fire pit table. It accommodates up to 25 guests standing or 20 guests seated, offering an al fresco option for intimate celebrations, social events, and private dining experiences. Both spaces are served by Key and Cleaver's in-house American cuisine catering team. The venue holds an alcohol licence valid until 10:00 pm. External catering and BYO alcohol are not permitted.
