Le Bois Blanc

Le Bois Blanc is an intimate gastronomic restaurant in the Sologne region of Romorantin-Lanthenay, founded from the passion of its chef. The house is conceived as a tribute to the region—notably to the birch trees (bouleaux) that are emblematic of the area—and seeks to highlight the richness of the local terroir; it is recognised for a modern approach to gastronomy, noted as "Cuisine moderne", and has been selected by culinary guides. The setting is warm and contemporary, beginning with a dedicated lounge for aperitifs and continuing into an intimate dining room with an open kitchen. The space is designed for a relaxed yet refined gastronomic experience. The kitchen offers refined, modern cuisine rooted in nature and the seasons, with dishes that emphasise fresh, local and seasonal products primarily sourced from the Sologne terroir. Plates tell stories of local produce, technique and passion through tasting sequences presented by the chef and his team. Precision and sensitivity shape each composition to showcase regional ingredients. Maxime Valleye (Chef) is a former cook at the prestigious Georges Blanc establishment.
