Le Parvis

Le Parvis, in the heart of Saintes and operated by Valérie and Pascal Yenk, has been referenced with a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide since 2026 and awarded two toques by Gault & Millau. The owners share recipes and local culinary initiatives, including a published revisited escargot recipe and a video by Pascal Yenk; following significant damage from recent Charente floods the operation is temporarily closed while restoration work is carried out and the team is working to reopen as soon as possible. A sunny terrace hosts summer service, a warm, intimate dining room receives winter guests, and Le Jardin du Parvis provides a small green garden setting for tapas and cocktails, contributing to a convivial, seasonal and welcoming family-run atmosphere. The kitchen serves traditional gastronomic French cuisine focused on fresh, seasonal ingredients with everything prepared in-house; the à la carte changes with the rhythm of the seasons and a complementary tapas-and-cocktail concept extends the offer toward sharing plates and casual tasting.
