Le P'tit Bateau

Le P'tit Bateau is a gastronomic restaurant offering refined, modern cuisine. It presents a contemporary gastronomic approach noted as "moderne" in Michelin classification and highlights regional terroir and subtle, layered flavors. The restaurant is Michelin-selected and aims to provide attentive, warm service in a carefully styled environment. The dining rooms are warm, convivial and well kept in the medieval town of Beaugency on the banks of the Loire, with a terrace at the foot of a stream and an intimate patio available in summer. The kitchen emphasizes seasonal, homemade dishes crafted with care from fresh, local products sourced from regional markets. The menu is renewed each season to showcase regional ingredients and refined techniques. Alban Trifigny (Chef) leads the savory kitchen and Juliette Pinard oversees desserts; both are natives of Centre Val de Loire who chose to settle their restaurant in Beaugency. Specialties include scorsonère poached and roasted with truffle and sabayon; esturgeon smoked over cherry wood with Sichuan pepper; silure de Loire poached with Douglas pine‑infused oil; effiloché de veal breast with celery mille‑feuille; ravioli of confit squash (Courge Shiatsu); venison filet with romanesco purée; and La pomme et nèfle dessert (apple and medlar mousse).
