Les 9 névés

In 2018 owners Cindy and Benoit bought the Gîte de la Charmette and converted the Savoyard chalet into Les 9 Névés, a restaurant with chambres d'hôtes. The house presents a modern, warm and refined culinary concept under Chef Benoit. The venue is recognised by the Michelin Guide, listed as "Cuisine moderne" and marked SELECTED. The combination of a renovated chalet, on-site guest rooms and a provenance-focused kitchen distinguishes it in Arêches–Beaufort. Les 9 Névés occupies a recently renovated Savoyard chalet with cosy décor and a south-facing terrace offering panoramic views over the village, pistes and mountains. The intimate interior is designed to feel like a mountain cocoon, with careful room decoration. The kitchen is largely house-made, works with seasonal produce and composts green waste on site. Producers are rigorously selected. The cuisine is contemporary French rooted in the Beaufortain terroir; Chef Benoit draws inspiration from that terroir and the restaurant showcases local cheeses and meats from named local farms and partners while highlighting vegetables from nearby growers. Specialties include whole-ingredient, low-waste preparations and an ice cream flavoured with fir, noted in local press.
