L'insouciant

L'insouciant is a modern, creative restaurant in Le Mans that presents a relaxed approach to gastronomy under the banner "Gastronomie décomplexée". The kitchen emphasises homemade dishes and remains rooted in a contemporary French approach; plates bear graphic composition, are designed with attention to detail and the chef's creativity. The restaurant has been selected in the Michelin Guide. The dining room offers an uncluttered, warm spirit; service is benevolent, rigorous and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen blends flavours of the world with French terroir, focusing on seasonal, freshly sourced ingredients obtained directly or through very few intermediaries. Plating is meticulous, favouring textured, aromatic compositions that sublimate raw materials into marked, delicate and surprising flavours. Corentin Courtien leads the kitchen and, with his team, focuses on respecting nature and the seasons.
