Monique

Monique is a Michelin-starred restaurant in Calvisson that emphasizes a convivial, expressive approach to gastronomy. Set in a fully renovated 18th-century agricultural barn, the space offers a shaded patio, a counter, an open kitchen facing the dining room and a staircase leading to an intimate private table upstairs for small groups. The kitchen produces modern, contemporary, terroir-inspired dishes of bold, gourmand and striking flavour that draw on the region's diverse local produce. Julien Caligo leads the kitchen; he returned to the Vaunage where he grew up after working alongside prominent starred chefs. Sequenced tasting menus of varying lengths comprise the Menu Découverte (3 sequences), the Menu Vaunage (5 sequences) and the Menu Monique (7 sequences; optional wine pairings); optional wine pairings and terroir-driven seasonal dishes complete the offering.
