Platero & Co

Platero & Co is a fine dining restaurant situated in Gaucín, within the Serranía de Ronda of Andalucía. Its concept, the New Rustic Kitchen, showcases dishes crafted on-site through a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques. The menu highlights local and seasonal ingredients from the Ronda mountain range, including goats’ cheeses, wild mushrooms, Iberian pork, cherries, and chestnuts. The restaurant’s name honors the Andalusian literary classic Platero y Yo by Juan Ramón Jiménez, reflecting themes of tenderness and simple joys. Recognized with a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand, Platero & Co seats 12 to 15 guests across five tables, allowing personalized service in a cozy atmosphere.
