Poisson, established in 2007 in Cologne, presents fish and seafood at the centre of its offering. The house emphasises origin, freshness and quality and presents extraordinary fish creations sourced worldwide. It offers specialty seafood preparations, including a large seafood platter by pre‑order, weekly lunch menus and themed events. Recognised in the Michelin Guide as SELECTED for its seafood cuisine, Poisson provides à la carte dining, catering and bespoke menu planning for private events and celebrations. The dining room is elegant and refined, with tables set for wine service and a gallery of plated fish dishes and kitchen impressions that convey an intimate fine‑dining vibe. The kitchen specialises in creative, light fine dining with international influences, emphasising high‑quality sourcing, freshness and careful wine pairings. Owner and pictured chef Ralf Marhencke is personally involved in sourcing fresh produce at the market. Specialties include Poisson’s Seafood Platter for two (available by pre‑order), Fish soup "Poisson" with saffron and rouille, a sashimi selection of salmon, tuna, scallop and hamachi, seawater gambas (grilled prawns) and Label Rouge salmon.
