The partner's word
San Giorgio is a family-rooted restaurant in Genoa, established in the 1980s by Giorgio and Teresa Scala in Albisola Superiore. Teresa’s dedication to quality ingredients shaped its reputation, and today her legacy inspires the kitchen led by Danilo Scala. The restaurant holds a Michelin star and features a wine list honored by Wine Spectator internationally. Chef Alessandro Marino fashions innovative Ligurian dishes that marry tradition with contemporary techniques, sourcing seasonal produce directly from local Ligurian producers.
The elegant setting at San Giorgio combines warmth and professionalism, reflecting the Scala family’s passion in every detail. The menu presents a modern take on Ligurian cuisine, creatively transforming classic recipes into fresh expressions rooted in land and sea. Signature dishes include Cuore di Baccalà with peas and horseradish, Capasante with nasturtium and kiwi, Ricciola Marinata accompanied by pumpkin and coriander, and Maialino da latte paired with cauliflower and black truffle, each highlighting the region’s seasonal flavors.
