Sobretablas is located at number 7, Calle Colombia, in the tranquil El Porvenir neighborhood of Sevilla, near Parque de María Luisa and Plaza de España. It occupies a nearly century-old building from the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, maintaining its original structure and façade. The restaurant features diverse dining areas spread over two floors, including private rooms and a spacious terrace, with a capacity of up to 35 guests. Since opening in October 2018, Sobretablas has built a reputation for its modern Andalusian cuisine that blends traditional recipes and seasonal local products with avant-garde techniques. The kitchen, led by Chef Camila Ferraro—recognized as Spain’s best new chef at Madrid Fusión—delivers evolving tasting menus, shared plates, and à la carte options. The dishes emphasize long cooking processes and refined preparation to highlight unique regional ingredients. The extensive wine cellar curated by sommelier Robert Tetas includes over 750 selections, featuring national and international wines, exceptional Jerez sherries, natural and organic wines, and Spanish sparkling wines. Sobretablas has earned distinctions including the 2018 Best Opening by Gurmé Sevilla, Best Female Chef 2019 in Sevilla by Talento Gastro, and a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand in 2020.
