Spitzweg

Spitzweg is a long-established restaurant that emphasises professional, hospitable service for both intimate dinners and larger private or corporate events. A dedicated kitchen and service team delivers personalised menus and stages thematic evenings, for example a staged Krimidinner paired with a three-course menu. Located opposite the historic Quirinus-Münster in central Neuss, the house offers intimate gastraums, a summer terrace and separate private dining rooms named DER POET and CARLCHEN, creating a warm, event-friendly atmosphere for small and medium groups. The cuisine is market-driven and international, focused on seasonal ingredients and multi-course set menus; the restaurant publishes seasonal menu cards such as the current “First signs of Spring” and presents special multi-course offerings for occasions like Easter as well as other themed multi-course events. The restaurant is led by Marika Weinhold-Blum and Peter Blum; Marika Weinhold-Blum serves as proprietor and owner, is recipient of the Deutscher Gastronomiepreis of the Herforder Brewery, was named Gastronomin des Jahres 2006 and since 2018 contributes a monthly cooking column to the Rheinische Post.
