Table is a small, seasonal New American restaurant in the heart of downtown Asheville, founded and operated by husband-and-wife team Jacob and Alicia Sessoms. The kitchen is led by two-time James Beard Award nominee Chef Jacob Sessoms alongside the Perfectly Ad Hoc team, and the restaurant has been part of Asheville's culinary scene since 2005. The kitchen honors American culinary traditions with particular homage to the Southeast, producing a seasonally changing menu that sources produce and proteins through long-standing relationships with local farmers and artisans. The restaurant's philosophy centers on creative, seasonal, farm-driven cooking in an intimate, urbane setting, paired with an interesting wine list and inventive cocktails; signature dishes include Whole Grilled Sunburst Trout, NC Trout, Pork Schnitzel, Pork Osso Buco, Rabbit Cavatelli and The Right There Burger. An intimate dining room and a small bar are served by a welcoming, gracious service team in a cozy, urban space suited to date nights and small gatherings. The interior features large windows and bench seating and offers a vibrant setting for private events; the team also operates a sister bar in downtown Asheville and the neighborhood café All Day Darling in Montford, NC.
