TERRA opened in Chartres in 2017 as an ode to Italian gastronomy, pairing artistic presentation with the best local and Italian products. It aims to deliver refined, pleasurable dishes and is described as gastronomic, healthy, artistic and of good taste, with dedicated vegetarian and vegan offerings. TERRA holds recognition from the Guide Michelin, Guide Boullenger and the RIAE. A large sunny terrace evokes an Italian atmosphere in good weather, while a spacious, carefully decorated interior dining room welcomes guests year‑round. Contemporary Italian gastronomy centres on seasonal, homemade dishes that balance creativity, textures and flavours. Chef Giuseppe Paglia, originally from the Apulia region, is a painter who composes plates like canvases and pursues continual innovation and perfection. Lisa, of South African origin with 15 years' experience in English restaurants, complements the kitchen and excels in plating and desserts.
