The Victoria

The Victoria is a village pub and restaurant on Oxshott High Street with a history of more than 100 years. Since the current team took over in 2021 it has adopted a contemporary, community-focused identity and holds 3 AA Rosettes. The team emphasises supporting local producers and sustainable sourcing, working with nearby suppliers such as Surrey Hills butchers and deli partners. The venue offers restaurant dining and bar service and presents regular special events, including guest-chef nights, supper clubs and seasonal tasting menus. Private dining and full venue hire are available with bespoke, personalised menus and dedicated service for events up to around 50 guests. Inside, a warm village-pub interior features cosy log fires, elegant furnishings and tasteful décor. In summer a spacious, well‑maintained beer garden provides al fresco dining. The vibe blends comfortable, family‑friendly conviviality with refined service appropriate for celebratory and intimate occasions. The kitchen focuses on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and produces a daily à la carte menu alongside event set menus; its philosophy centres on letting fresh flavours shine through precise, skilled cooking. Daniel Lee is Executive Chef and brings two decades of experience that include roles at Pennyhill Park and Seasons Kitchen in Windlesham. His background supplies luxury‑hotel and high‑standard kitchen experience to the restaurant. Specialities include the famous Sunday roast, modern British classics and seasonal à la carte dishes, crispy haggis for Burns Night and a six‑course New Year’s Eve tasting menu.
