Wirtsstube im Hotel Burkhard

Hotel & Landgasthof Burkhard is a third-generation, family-run inn and hotel. The house has been recognised repeatedly with the Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction. It offers 34 hotel rooms for overnight stays. Regular special events and themed evenings, such as Italian nights and an Amuse Bouche menu, form part of the gastronomic programme. The house provides both rustic and modern spaces: cosy traditional stuben and a newly renovated dining room. These rooms create a versatile atmosphere suitable for everyday dining and special occasions and express warm, local hospitality. The kitchen emphasises light, sustainable dishes prepared predominantly with regional and mostly organic ingredients. Offerings span hearty Bavarian “gut bürgerlich” home-style dishes to refined, French-influenced preparations. Head chefs Josef Braun and Thomas Leyerer lead the kitchen alongside their team. Specialties include tuna tartare, tuna, lamb carré, chanterelles, smoked prawn and duck breast.
