Almières Retreat

Almières Retreat is an eco-lodge nestled in a historic hamlet within the UNESCO World Heritage site and DarkSky Park of Massegros Causses Gorges, Occitanie, France. Set on 10 hectares of wild land, the estate offers expansive views of the Tarn River Gorge, surrounding mountains, valleys, and meadows. The property blends rustic charm with minimalist French country style, featuring stone barns, a courtyard, and adjacent buildings housing guest suites.

The retreat's architecture and design emphasize sustainability and simplicity, with eco-friendly elements integrated throughout. The spa, converted from old stables, includes a sauna and outdoor Nordic hot tub, while wellness offerings include yoga, qi gong, tai chi, breathwork classes, and professional massages. The dining area is a bright stone barn with large windows overlooking rolling hills and mountains.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire property except for the music room and owners' residence. The venue accommodates up to 20 seated or standing guests, suitable for corporate events, weddings, retreats, and family reunions. Outdoor amenities include a yoga platform and an outdoor hot tub with gorge views, set amid meadows, forests, and gardens rich with local wildlife.
