Whether you’re planning a team-building event, a casual summer party, or a large-scale celebration, this space is both picturesque and versatile.Due to the garden’s natural charm, it beautifully accommodates a variety of setups. While there are some restrictions—such as no water sports, Ferris wheels, archery, or sharp objects being thrown on the grounds, we are also able to have music on the grounds but that's subject to Islington council and does come with a fee—we are flexible with many other activities. Please note that the&nbsp;Artillery Garden does not have a built-in wet-weather option, but you may opt for the Prince Consort Rooms as a contingency (for £4000 more). We can also provide additional items such as&nbsp;parasols, garden furniture, or marquees&nbsp;to ensure your event runs smoothly. Artillery Garden Rules 2019Health &amp; Safety1. In view of their value, history and safety risk the Field Guns are not to be played with or sat on.2. In the interest of Health &amp; Safety, plants or planters are not to be moved.3. The Parade Square is an entry and exit point only and groups are not permitted to gather there to drink and or smoke unless an area has been created to do so.4. Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking areas and ashtrays are provided, smoking is not permitted in the following areas; changing rooms, steps, flower beds, cricket wicket or parade square.5. Fires are not permitted on the grounds.6. It is not permitted to cover or sit on the balustrades and the steps must be kept clear at all times7. Risk assessments and public liability insurance are required to be sent no less than 7 days prior to an event.8. Glassware is not permitted on the grounds and only plastics are to be used. General1. Only the sports changing room facilities are permitted for use as per the hire agreement. Toilets in Armoury House or the Prince Consort Rooms are separate from any agreement and entry is not permitted.2. A dress code will apply when leaving the Artillery Garden. Shorts, sports or beach wear including flip flops are not permitted in either Armoury House or the Prince Consort Rooms. Shoes must be worn at all times.3. Changing is strictly reserved for the changing rooms only and must not happen outside of this area.4. All items brought onto the grounds will need to be listed and permitted by prior agreement only, these items will be required to be removed once the event has finished. Items are not permitted to be left overnight.5. Staff/Crew must be suitably/smartly dressed at all times.6. Staff and Crew are not permitted to drink, smoke or eat during an outside event. Any staff considered to be under the influence of alcohol will be asked to leave the site immediately. The HAC will take no responsibility for any subsequent inability by the contractor to deliver their service to the client.7. The use of pegs or stakes will need prior approval from the Grounds man beforehand; 12-inch stakes are the maximum permitted. Vehicles1. To protect the Artillery Garden, vehicles are not under any circumstances allowed on the grass.2. Car parking is not available without request and must be noted that it is always firstly reserved for Members, Military and Residents; an NCP is located at Finsbury Square.3. Quad bikes are not permitted on the grounds.4. Larger vehicles will need to find alternative parking and will not be allowed to park without prior arrangement in writing.5. A vehicle speed limit of 5mph is enforced at all times. Inflatables1. In relation to Inflatables wherever possible these are to be lifted or carried into position. Items that are too large or bulky must have trolleys fitted with grass tyres and these must be approved by the HAC Grounds team before use.2. It is also requested that wherever possible surface weight, dimensions and images are submitted to the operations team for review prior to the event. Power Supplies1. To protect the lawn of the Artillery Garden, generators will not be allowed without the use of a hard flat surface.2. Subsequently generators are then only to be re-fuelled on the hard standing and not on the Artillery Garden. PA Systems1. PA systems can be used to make announcements and speeches only. Continuous amplified commentary e.g. tannoy or speaker systems, are strictly prohibited. The HAC noise protocol must be adhered to at all times.2. Failure to comply with requests by the HAC Operations team regarding noise levels will result in the event being terminated. Under such circumstances there will be no recourse to the HAC for any compensation or return of monies.3. The use of air horns are not permitted on the grounds. If a loud haler is used it is subject to the same rules as a PA system.. Furniture1. In the interest of Health &amp; Safety the Garden furniture, to include parasols, bases, chairs and benches are not to be moved by anyone other than HAC employees.
