Al Grop is a trattoria and locanda situated in Tavagnacco, Italy, managed by Silvia and Simona who uphold ancient family culinary traditions. The venue rests beside the church under the Tavagnacco bell tower, overlooking the noble Prampero park. It is especially noted for its asparagus sourced from nearby fields that retain their fresh aroma and distinctive flavor. The kitchen presents a blend of traditional and innovative recipes with asparagus as a central ingredient. The connected locanda occupies a renovated old farmhouse that reflects Friulian culture, offering six uniquely styled suites. The restaurant's comfortable and elegant dining rooms accommodate up to 150 guests and feature wide glass windows that frame views of the verdant park. Fine wines complement the seasonal, refined cuisine. Al Grop's menu features classic regional dishes such as San Daniele prosciutto with giardiniera, saffron risotto, polenta with venison, and frico, a local potato and onion specialty.
