Kadence

Kadence is a sushi and kappo omakase restaurant in Orlando’s Audubon Park Garden District, founded and run by Mark, Jennifer (Jen) and Lordfer. It began as the Kappo sushi stand at East End Market in 2014 and moved to a permanent dining room two years later. Mark and Jennifer Berdin are University of Florida alumni who trained in New York City and London in Michelin‑starred kitchens; both are certified Advanced Sake Professionals and Jen holds WSET Level 3. Kadence has received coverage in the Michelin Guide and other publications, and reservations are managed via a ticketed system on Tock; tickets are final but transferable and the team can sometimes assist with re‑selling seats given adequate notice. The compact black‑box building contains a purposely designed, intimate counter‑style sake bar that emphasizes close chef‑to‑guest interaction typical of omakase and kappo dining, with parking available front and back.
