Nagare is a small, family-run restaurant on the outskirts of Feuerbach named after the chef's birthplace. It emphasises a flowing, exploratory approach to flavours. The house is recognised in the Michelin Guide (SELECTED) and offers takeaway sushi with a discount as well as catering services for private events. The dining room is intimate with a refined, contemporary feel; the ambience is sometimes enriched by live piano music and plates are presented on hand-thrown pottery. The kitchen presents refined Japanese cuisine reinterpreted with regional European influences and creatively blends traditions from the chef's Japanese homeland with European techniques. Menus are seasonally driven with carefully selected natural ingredients, and an extended evening menu is offered alongside a curated list of wines and traditional sake to create balanced pairings. The managing director and chef is Shinichi Nakagawa. Specialities include Wagyu Shabu-Shabu and seasonal multi-course tasting menus.
