Origines by Céline is a bistronomic restaurant in the heart of Mons, a few steps from the Grand-Place. The restaurant is run by Céline, Jean‑Phi and their team, who present creative, contemporary plates that highlight the authenticity of the local terroir. The menu evolves monthly and guests may also choose à la carte. The team proposes special menus for Saint‑Valentin, Mother’s Day and local festivities and publishes occasional refined cartes, the most recent introduced on 14 January. Guests can enjoy a selection of wines, champagnes and artisan local beers. An elegant, convivial dining room provides the principal setting. A shaded terrace is available for pleasant weather. An upstairs room provides a warm, refined space that can be privatised for meetings and group events. The kitchen offers seasonal gastronomy that combines contemporary creativity with traditional regional flavours and works closely with local producers from the Hainaut region to compose menus that change with the seasons. The restaurant is recognised in the Michelin Guide (SELECTED) for its market- and season-driven cuisine. Specialties include poached scallops in shiitake broth; compressed skate wings with crayfish; confit pork belly with a pickled‑flavoured emulsion; low‑temperature yellow poultry on fir; waterzooi of seasonal fish; and a plateau of matured Belgian cheeses.
