Pilkington's

Pilkington's is a renowned restaurant in the heart of 's-Hertogenbosch, directly opposite the entrance to the Sint-Janskathedraal and close to the Parade and Theater aan de Parade. Founded in 1990 in a former monastery, it has been owned by Bart Derks since 1993. The establishment is known for its high-quality homemade dishes, warm atmosphere, and nostalgic charm reminiscent of the English countryside. Guests can enjoy dining in various settings, including the restaurant itself, a conservatory, a garden room, or a spacious city garden with stunning views of the Sint-Janskathedraal. Pilkington's offers an authentic English High Tea, the only one of its kind in the city, as well as breakfast, lunch, dinner, private dinners, coffee, and tea throughout the day. The menu features generously filled sandwiches, bagels, contemporary salads, traditional British cakes, and a selection of homemade cakes, scones, and pastries made by our own pastry chefs. Signature items include the warm apple crumble and the popular "Crazy Crumble," both also available for takeaway. Pilkington's also serves as an elegant event venue where weddings, parties, receptions, baby showers, meetings, and corporate events take place, offering a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces in a historic central location.
