Edie’s is a neighbourhood bistro in Carlyon Bay, St Austell, open for over half a decade and celebrated with rave reviews and inclusion in both the Michelin and Good Food guides among other accolades. Front of house is run by Kelly, a seasoned hospitality manager who has held senior roles at high-profile restaurants including Blanc’s, and their daughter Edie assists in the restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and family-focused, with welcoming, efficient service led by the owners. The team aims to create a comfortable, attentive experience while maintaining high standards of service. The kitchen serves Modern British dishes, and the menu philosophy focuses on high-quality, local ingredients presented in accessible, contemporary preparations that reflect the season. Nigel Brown returned to his native Cornwall after an international career to establish Edie’s, leading the kitchen with a focus on high-quality food and great service. Specialties include seasonal local food, local produce–driven dishes, a prix fixe menu, an à la carte menu and a Little People children’s menu.
